Living as an avatar
One can never see
A life once lived
Fighting to be free
In a different reality
From eons long ago
Leaving a carcass
Few ever did know
Illusions can destroy
Even though not real
Numbing the ability
To reason or feel
Existing in limbo
Seeking a cure
To live without an avatar
Able to happily endure
Making a new life
Proudly wearing name
Out in the open
Without any shame
