"These are my words the song I sing, not with my voice, it's with words that I bring. A part of my life, some of what I believe, a partial glimpse of the one called me."

It is hard to limber up
No matter how hard you try
With dry brittle bones
Causing you to sigh
Recalling the long days
Playing with children on the floor
Those times are long gone
And will return no more
To a senior frail body
Well into many years
Trying to limber up
Just plain brings tears

Now it is paper
Once it was a tree
Left behind is a stump
Where the tree used to be
So it is with life
Even when we pretend
Knowing days are numbered
Until time on earth will end

in front of the dam
a river does flow
raging over stones
people often throw
into the cold water
where they do sink
faster than a mind
has time to think
about a river
where it may go
in front of a dam
where it does flow

About Me

My Photo
I was, I am, and I will be. I live in a state of confusion called Georgia by some people. Humor is my cup of tea and I do so enjoy sharing it with friends.
